Terms of service

1. Using Fluxx Connect

You must provide accurate account information, keep access to your email and device secure, and use the service only for lawful personal travel. You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you notify us of unauthorized access.

Service availability, routes, stops, operating hours, vehicles, and fares may change. Live positions and arrival estimates depend on current vehicle reports and traffic conditions and are provided as guidance, not a guaranteed departure or arrival time.

2. Accounts and registered devices

Your login session may be associated with an individual device. Each registered device receives its own limited-duration cryptographic credential for secure QR boarding. Do not share access tokens, ride passes, screenshots of QR codes, or device credentials.

We may reject or revoke credentials, require you to sign in again, or suspend an account when we reasonably detect misuse, tampering, fraud, or a security risk. Logging out or revoking a device invalidates its ride credential.

3. Wallet, top-ups, and fares

Wallet credit is used to pay eligible route fares. The displayed fare for a route is applied when a valid scan records travel. Some routes or promotional journeys may have a zero fare. You must maintain enough available balance for paid travel.

Top-ups are processed through supported payment methods and may be subject to provider checks. If a top-up, duplicate fare, or wallet adjustment appears incorrect, contact support promptly with the relevant date, route, and transaction information.

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances, payment status, trips taken, and applicable law. Wallet credit is not cash, does not earn interest, and may not be transferred between passengers unless Fluxx Connect expressly provides that feature.

4. Boarding and conduct

Present your own current ride pass to the authorized scanner when requested. Follow driver instructions, posted safety rules, capacity limits, and any applicable conditions of carriage. Do not interfere with a vehicle, scanner, route operation, other passengers, or service personnel.

We may refuse boarding or restrict service access when reasonably necessary for safety, security, non-payment, abuse, or serious violation of these terms.

5. Offline ride passes

The app may generate a ride pass without a network connection while a valid device credential remains available. Offline access is time-limited and is not guaranteed. You are responsible for reconnecting the app before its credential expires and for keeping your device operational and sufficiently charged.

6. Intellectual property and acceptable use

Fluxx Connect and its software, branding, content, and service design are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reverse engineer security controls, automate abusive requests, scrape protected data, create fraudulent passes, impersonate another passenger, or use the service to harm Fluxx Connect or others.

7. Service limitations

We work to provide a reliable service, but transport can be delayed, rerouted, suspended, or unavailable because of traffic, safety needs, vehicle conditions, weather, network failures, public events, or matters outside reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, Fluxx Connect is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by reliance on an estimate or temporary service interruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Ending service and deleting an account

You may stop using the service and request deletion through the app. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, fraud, or where required by law. Obligations relating to completed transactions, retained records, intellectual property, and disputes survive account closure where applicable.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect service, fare, security, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated where required. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
